Presenter Information

Poster Presentations

Each poster will be displayed on a free standing panel. Posters should be on A0 (1190mm x 840mm) paper in Portrait Orientation or A1 (594mm x 841mm) paper in Landscape Orientation. The poster should be clearly visible 1.5m away from the panel to ensure it can be read. Velcro dots will be provided to attach your poster to the board.

Your presentation space will be identified by a card with your paper number on it. Please display your poster when you arrive to register for the Conference and your poster must be removed by the end of the Conference. Posters left after this time will be removed and disposed of.


Plenary, Invited and Hot Topic Talk Presentations

Presenters must remain within their allotted presentation length. The allotted time is as follows;

Plenary: 50 minutes; including 40 minute presentation and 10 minutes for questions

Invited: 40 minutes; including 30 minute presentation and 10 minutes for questions

Hot Topic: 30 minutes; including 25 minute presentation and 10 minutes for questions

Powerpoint presentations should be brought to the Conference on a USB and by PC compatible. There will be no facility to allow individual speakers to connect their own laptops, including Apple Macintosh users. Your presentation should be loaded onto the presentation laptop and tested prior to your session (during registration, coffee breaks or lunch time) to ensure they run smoothly without delay. The session room will be equipped with a projector screen (16:9 aspect ratio) and a laptop with Microsoft Powerpoint and Adobe PDF reader.

Please arrive at the session room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session to introduce yourself to the Session Chair.
